A) What is InsideDivorce.com?
InsideDivorce.com is an online help service for people thinking about, experiencing, and recovering from divorce.

A) Is it free?
Yes – the service is completely free to users.

A) How does the site work?
The top left three buttons Relationship Breakdown, Separation & Divorce, and Moving On reflect the three stages of divorce; and provide regularly updated news and guidance information on the processes involved and what to consider. There is a side menu which breaks these three subject areas down in to seven sub-sections: Legal, Children, Finance, Property, Work, Wellbeing, and Relationships and the services available.

The Discussion Forums section, also split by the seven sub-sections allow you, the user, to share experiences with other users and an opportunity for you to feedback on some of the services you have used, for the benefit of others. This section will require a simple registration of your details. In return, you can benefit from our monthly e-newsletter sent to your email address, containing the latest news and How To articles.

Once registered you can also use the Personal Resources section which can be found on the left side of the site. Here you can use your very own Planner and Checklist which provides a schedule of things to do and a means for you to record progress. This section also allows you to upload personal files, to hold on a secure and confidential server. You can also write blogs in here for others to view.

The News & Features section gives the latest news and developments, and the Services Directory provides you with a
 comprehensive listing of the services across the country. You can either type your search words in to the text box in the top right corner, or use the dropdowns to select either by category or service. The Directory covers services across the UK and provides a description of the services provided, contact details and an 'Average User Rating'. The Average User Rating is the average score from users rating the particular service on 4 criteria: Value for Money, Service, End Result, and Overall Impression; on a score of 1-5. 
 
A) How do I rate a service on the directory?
You have to register to be able to rate a service. Underneath each listing click on the link Rate this Service and simply score on the 4 criteria shown.

A) Do I have to register my details to use the site?
No, you can use all areas of the site except the Discussion Forums and the Personal Resources area without registering. But we do encourage you to register.  Also you will be able to rate companies in the Services Directory.

A) What are the benefits of registering?
Register with InsideDivorce.com for FREE and the next time you log on, the home page will be packed with the latest news and features that are relevant to you. You'll also be able to take part in the Discussion Forums, upload confidential files in the Resources section and use the Planner and Checklist also in the Resources section. 

You will also be able to rate a company on the Services Directory, receive regular newsletters by email and our Inside Divorce glossy magazine delivered direct to your door (four times a year). Just fill in your details by clicking on the Register link on the front page.

A) Does registration mean my details are shared with other sites?
No, your information is kept strictly confidential.

A) Do I have to register every time I visit the site?
No, once you have registered your registration details are kept on the server. The next time you visit the site you simply enter your email address and password in the top left Login box.

A) What are the benefits of registering?
You will receive our monthly e-newsletter (tailored to your interest areas checked on the registration form), be able to
use the Discussion Forums section, and have access to the Resources area.

A) Can I stop receiving mailings at any time?
Yes, simply log in and click on My Details top left and amend the details of your registration. Un-check the box asking for e-newsletters.

A) What if I have a question not covered on the site?
If, having used the search box in the top right corner and searched the Discussion Forums, you still have an unanswered question, then click simply contact us. We will be glad to help. Simply click on the Contact Us link on the site for contact details. Thank you.

A) How often is the site updated with new information?
Daily – we have an editorial team dedicated to maintaining the site with the very latest information and developments.

A) How secure and confidential is the site?
The site is run on an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) server which means your details (when you register) are secure and
completely confidential from other users.

A) Can I suggest ways to improve the site?
