Can i save my marriage

Hi to anyone out there!

I split from my husband 9 months ago, of which I asked for time out to see what I wanted, since then my daughter and me have been in counselling. There have been various family members, from his side, completely interferring.  From solicitor letters, stopping business income, etc.  I have recently had to file for divorce as the family stopped my income and try and get maintenance for me and my two children.  This was something that I did not want to do but felt forced into a corner.  I spoke to my husband and explained this and we have now started to talk about things.  He sees the future as a long time, years, apart due to him loving his job and we live miles apart.  We have discussed reconciling and have tried once before and my kids had to deal with mummy and daddy getting together and it all going wrong.  My children have now come to terms with the divorce and I am worried.  Firstly that my children could see their parents getting back together again and it all go wrong and secondly that my husband could not stand up for his family previously and will be living away apart from weekends so really is their a marriage?  I don't really know what to do.  I love him dearly, even though I asked for the seperation, the following months have dealt me more than I supposed I expected.  I wish I could just move on with my life but for some reason I can't.  Everything has been destroyed and I am not sure it can be put back together again.  I mostly worry about the kids.  Any advice.
